About Elm Street Plaza
Elm Street Plaza is a two-and-a-half-acre outdoor park and venue that transforms a long-underutilized space into a dynamic urban destination for recreation, celebration, and cultural experiences in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. The modern park is a city escape for locals and visitors alike, featuring lush greenspace and gardens, a dog park, an outdoor Pavilion Bar, public art, an interactive water feature in warm months, and an outdoor ice-skating rink through the winter.
Elm Street Plaza was completed and opened to the public in the fall of 2025 as part of Cincinnati’s historic reimagining of the Convention District. Its unique pedestrian connection to the newly renovated Cincinnati Convention Center’s first-floor exhibit space will allow the park to serve as an amenity for meeting and event professionals booking the facility as well as a warm introduction to Cincinnati for convention attendees who need only step out the convention center’s doors to start experiencing the Queen City’s unparalleled vibrancy.
